Deep insight, extensive experience as an operator and an academic with a vision for top performance is what Fardad Fateri draws on to lead IEC to new levels of growth, academic excellence, student retention, graduation and placement. His decorated career spans numerous leadership positions, including most recently as chief academic officer for Corinthian Colleges, Inc., where he led the corporation’s academic rise for four years. Prior to that, he capped a 10-year appointment with DeVry University as president of the Southern California campuses, where his team enjoyed extraordinary growth while maintaining exemplinary results in student outcomes. And in his seven years at the Orange County campus of United States International University, Dr. Fateri gained critical knowledge of what schools need to thrive in key positions, from graduate advisor and assistant director to campus director.

Dr. Fateri laid the groundwork for his stellar career in academics as a professor of psychology, education, and business, regularly publishing journal articles and speaking at prominent conferences around the country.

Fateri earned his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from University of California in Irvine; California State University in Fullerton; and Alliant International University respectively. He achieved his doctoral degree in Leadership and Human Behavior with a specialization in Organizational Behavior. Dr. Fateri also completed the "Management and Leadership in Education" program at Harvard University.
